The building is now owned by the Texarkana Historical Society and has been restored to its appearance around 1910–1920 with many original furnishings preserved inside. The house is open for tours Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM; admission costs $5 per adult or $10 per family (2 adults and children).

Museum of Regional History

As the name suggests, this museum focuses on Texarkana’s history. Located at the corner of South 1st and Cedar streets, it’s got a lot to offer. The Museum of Regional History houses exhibits that tell the story of Texarkana through the eyes of those who lived it.

There are permanent exhibits on display including one called “From Forked Tongues to Stampedes: A Collection from Northwest Arkansas,” which features historical items and photos from Northwest Arkansas’ past; another called “Texarkana: A City Divided by Water,” that gives visitors an insight into how life was before Interstate 57 cut across town; and finally there’s also an exhibit called.

The Ace of Clubs House (1403 Willow St., 903-798-3334) is a historic home built in 1944 by Sara Jane Moore. The home was once the residence of former Texas Governor Bill Clements, who purchased it in 1977 and lived there until he died in 2018. The house was later owned by Bob McNutt, who hosted many political fundraisers at his home over the years. Today, the property also includes an outdoor garden that provides visitors with a beautiful view of downtown Texarkana while also acting as an oasis for residents to enjoy year-round!

Four States Fairgrounds and Entertainment Center

The Four States Fairgrounds and Entertainment Center is located at the corner of North State Line Avenue and West Markham Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. The fairgrounds host a variety of events throughout the year including concerts, festivals, and sporting events. In addition to hosting events on their grounds, they also offer a campground for RVers with hookups available. The fairgrounds are open daily from 6:00 AM until midnight during the fair season (March through November).

The center features several seating areas as well as an outdoor concert venue that can accommodate up to 10,000 people.
